Chip em off. Overall just start feeding more flake than frozen. Some say that works out since for some reasons vermitids don't like flake as much. I don't really know if this is true or not but worth a shot.

Thanks do you think that's the reason it wasn't completely open yesterday?
I see vermetids and spirorbids- harmless filter feeders. The flesh on your torch had already receded before they started growing on the skeleton. Address the reason for the declining torch... It's not the spirorbids.
