Hammer corals has some warts

Got home from work todayand found me tanks that is 3 months old and my hammer coral was smaller then usual and the tentikles has small warts on them.

Alk 7.8 dkh
Mag 1280
Nitrate 0
Phos 0.01PPM
Temp 78F

Looks fairly normal to me also. Maybe some slight hybridization with a frogspawn, but nothing unusual.

The corals been deflated by half, i shrinks almost to the skeleton then i goes back to half

A frogspawn of mine did that for a week and now it's back to normal. I just kept a close eye on it, to make sure it wasnt taking a turn for the worse.

I also did a mistake of adding dry rock i rinsed it with R.O water and now i have diatom bloom would that cause my hammer to do what its doing ?

No, not likely. It's just the presence of silicates that will dissipate on its own once the diatoms use it all up.

Does it shrink at night?

Yes it does and then it come back during light time, but it shrinks also during the day and come back, i was just worried because it was about 3 to 4 inches in diameter and now its about half of that.

What kind of flow do you have on it?

not inderect flow it's in a 45gallon tank with a power head of 600Gal/H
