Just wanted to know what colour variations of hammer corals are rare . Feel free to share pics of your hammer corals .

I saw a Robin's egg blue once.... In all my years as a buyer, exporter and hobbiest, never seen another like it...
Been kicking myself for not buying it ever since.......

Do you know of a picture? I tried to google it but nothing but acros came up. Here’s my euphyllia garden. I also just picked up a sweet deal on a true gold hammer last week.

Gorgeous corals... And no. Never seen a picture or another like it.. it was at Reef Raft USA.. Luckily for me, he is about 5 minutes from my house. The day I saw the blue, it had only been in about a day... When I went back the next day to get it, was already gone... This was about a year and a half ago.. gave Tony my # so if he ever got another..... 2 Guys Corals is also right around the corner from me, and talking to those guys, they SAY they have seen a blue, but NOT a Robin's egg blue... so.... The hunt continues..... Take it from me, you see one... Buy it... You may never see another....

Tony did send me the bleu about a month ago.
Still need to get a good pic of it as it came in with no water in the bag but it’s recovering as we speak.

I hope it is a Blue like I saw... And I hope it isn't at the same time... I need to have a discussion with that boy.........

I know Tony since he started in the corals.
My foot was in the door before ppl even knew about RR USA.
Ever wondered where some names came from...... ;)
The Diesel, Optimus, the orange machine (originally máquina naranja) but nobody could even pronouch that name so it got renamed.
Crazy T is another, I called it first crazy Tony but that is nothing new :p

Are bicolour hammers rare ?

The green & purple ones that I have aren't really rare. They're probably the most popular Hammer coming into the USA right now. I just enjoyed the contrast.

Yh I was thinking of ordering a frag of 1 because there one of my favourite hammers .

Are neon green hammers rare because at my lfs they sell them for £15 a head and I’ve never seen them any other time .

Where do you live at? They're not rare, but I do think they're kind of trending that way. Basing this off of own observations but it seems like the changes and restrictions from exporting countries has shifted the types of coral coming in. As a result, the bi-color green & purple hammer is becoming more and more prevalent and the neon green is becoming less so. All that said, $20 a head is about par for a neon green hammer.

I live in the uk

The problem here is that I don’t see many rare hammers or euphyllia here and I think that’s to do with shipping and things like that .

Does this hammer coral look rare
