Hey just what I found that worked for clean cuts of my hammerhead, I used a pair of pvc cutters and it was a clean cut and not power needed.just a tip from my experience today while aquascaping.

From my personal experience. Several guys I know had bad experiences with wire cutters.
A band saw is certainly the best solution, but I don't have one and I cut with a Dremel with a diamond blade. All frags always survived.
