My green hammer has been flourishing and the other day i went to move him to a better place in the tank for him because he was getting beat up by my new flow pattern and my fingers slipped and pinched and cut off about 6 or so of his tentacles! After that in a week he slowly receded into the shell and now he is gone. Is he completely dead or hope for the best?! Yes all parameters are good and no he showed no signs of brown jelly. This was my own doing, so bummed he was one of my favorites! The brown in the pic was a little algae fyi. Thanks in advance.
