Ok so I took my hammer out of the water about 2 months ago to get a pest coral off of it and to reglue it. Ever since I have done that this is what it has looked like. Any help would be appreciated

I take it that it's back in the same place? What was the pest? Anything else change in the tank? And... do you have other hammers that are doing OK? -- sorry for barrage of questions but it'll help diagnose.

Sorry this is my frogspawn not my hammer…yes back in the same place nothing has changed in the tank and all other corals and euphillya are doing good. I’ll attach a pic of the stupid pest coral.

That would depend on what process you used to remove the pest!

Some corals don’t do well with some dips.

How long was it attached to the frogspawn?
Uh not really sure…it came in on the bottom of the frag plug and when I noticed it had grown on the top of the plug I noticed it had grown up the back side of the stalk. I immediately pulled it out put the frog on a new plug….best guess maybe 3 weeks

Ok so I noticed I have a crap ton of what looks like tiny rocks all over my tank. I decided to take the coral out and dip it for pests…found nothing except for 2 tiny looking snails hiding out between the 4 heads. Hopefully that was what it was and it will bounce back here soon.
