Base of coral has a bunch of these, are they feet or another mouth? or somthing completely different?? look close to the bottom of the flesh and youll see 3 or 4 popping out.

Are you talking about the tiny baby heads near the base or the place where the skeleton has a small valley in it?

baby heads will eventually grow up to be big adult heads. The valley are will split into a new branch soon!
