Hammer overextending?

So I went to my local aquarium shop and picked up a nice hammer coral frag for $25 and after a day of getting use to my aquarium the thing has opened up alot more than it was at the store. I know extension in corals is usually a good thing but it looks more like a torch now with the hammer shape at the end of the polyps xD. It wasnt as compact as the usual hammer you see in pictures in the store either but now im wondering if perhaps theres something wrong with it? Maybe lack of light or flow?
Tank is a relatively new 10g nano. Lighting is the hipargero aquaknight light from amazon which from what ive seen has good reviews and flow in the tank just comes from an aquaclear 70.

Looks good! Extension like that means he's trying to gather as much light as possible. Red Sea just posted 4 videos on You Tube about light and their research shows corals use the 380-460nm spectrum the most. Very informative.

i have a small one like that as well and sometimes the tentacles dont look like hammers either, Dont know if that helps but i have the same thing happening
