Below is a hammer and Xenia in QT. Note the lower group of Xenia isn't doing well. I think my hammer attacked it, and I got lucky that it only caught one set of Xenia polyps.

I have since moved them further apart, but this is a 20 gal QT that also has some frags needing high flow. The current position is the only one low flow enough that my hammer, Xenia, bubble and sympodium open up, and the current powerheads are the lowest flow I've been able to find.

Are they far enough apart now?

Does the Xenia look like it has hammer damage?

Does it have any chance of recovery?

Xenia is incredibly extravagant and I think you got strap a bomb to it and it would live. The hammer on the other end looks fine, the flow is good as well. Just watch to make sure they don’t touch!
