I was doing a water change i noticed something was inside of the hammer with white tenicals what should I do

That looks like a type of scallop. I have one on one of my large torch corals that has been there for two years. After it’s not irritated see if you can see little feathers coming in and out of the hole.

I cannot see it has to close so I can see the hole
Have you done anything to take em out will it effect another

Mine has been there for two years. So I just left it alone. I didn’t want to mess with the torch. It has about 17 heads on the colony now, so it hasn’t affected growth.
