Hey Friends,![]()
I think this hammer has eggs…. Are they hammer eggs? And if so what do I need to do?
Those are def not eggs of the hammer. Those look to be some kind of pest eggs, i would lean towards some type of flatworm. I wish i could help you with a more definite ID. What i can tell you is that they do not belong to the dreaded Euphylia eating flatworms that many of us have had.
When torches, hammers, and frogs spawn, the eggs come out as small white spheres from the oral cavity and float away. Those look to be very much attached to the tentacles and tissue, and are not the right shape or color.!
Oh boy! Thanks for the info. Should I dip them?
A dip would most likely be the best course of action, but a positive ID should also be made as soon as possible. Is it possible to get a zoomed in picture (macro if possible) so we can hep with identification?Oh boy! Thanks for the info. Should I dip them?
