Hamwkish and shrimp

Who here has had hawkfish and some kind of shrimp? Inwant one BAD but the wife and kids talked me into a hamkfish weeks ago.

I have a cleaner shrimp and long nose hawkfish. They don’t really interact much.

How big are each and how long have you had them @colledge14 ? I have a longnose and have wanted a cleaner shrimp but feel like I've heard a bunch of stories about flame hawks taking them out

I had a falco and a peppermint that we’re friends but killed the cleaner?

I have a Caribbean Red Spot hawk with 2 cleaners. Never bothered them.

I also have 6 sexy shrimp in an acclimation box with some BTAs in the display. Those he is muuuuuch more interested in. He also dive bombs my gobies and pistol shrimps so I would be inclined to say he would eat them if he could catch them as well.

Mine Flamehawk killed my fire shrimp after living with it for almost 2 months shortly after the shrimp molted.

Longnose have small mouths specialized for smaller inverts - only thing I’d be remotely worried about them getting is sexy shrimp or hermits, but even then I doubt it would.
