Hands on or hands out?

So the last couple of weeks I have been working a lot and haven't had time for my usual reef tank fuss. It seems like, usually, I've always got my hands in there cleaning, moving or feeding something. Well since I haven't had time the last couple weeks my tank is flourishing! I've never seen my corals open wider or multiply faster. Even my fish are more active. My husband said last night after we saw that my 2 year old bta had split "see what happens when you leave your hands out of there?"

What do you think? Is it better to "help" the tank out by hand feeding and cleaning or just let it do it's own thing?

Cleaning isnt bad but you should never really move stuff unless it is super unhappy! Think about a reef, the corals never move!

I usually only move the ones that are in the sand and get knocked over or covered in sand by critters. Even then i just set them back to there original location. Everything else it's glued to the rocks. :)
