It’s a difficult conversion but the correct answer is almost always 1. (Unless you’re using heavy water instead of RODI.). Then relativity takes hold and physics calculations must be performed to take into account particle deterioration rates, not to mention evaporation at STP. According to Einstein it’s really easy but I blindly trust Hanna and pray that my syringe is properly calibrated.

But the million dollar question is do any of us really know the salinity of our tanks.

You arent taking phases of the moon into consideration. Tidal swell n' what not. Even 1 ml is going to have some tidal swell.

Good point! I wonder how much barometric pressure influences these calculations. Don't want to measure my calcium wrong...

True:thinking-face:. This may explain why they have an error region (+/-0.04% of MLLW) or something like that? I never worried about what the numbers were too much cause I can't see colors so what are my options? I use the meter in case someone asks me what my parameters are.

PSA: Fall is the best time to upgrade those dirty, scratched and scaled-up Checker Cuvettes!
Makes the meters light brighter!
