If you have to have a sale and giveaways(which is what you are begging for) then you would be fired if your were my sales manager. Your product should sell it self and not need to be discounted to get customers to buy.
They have the traffic and why do you think they need more? The clientele is different from the others for a reason.

Ok, perhaps I am misunderstood here. Yes a prize should be a "Prize" but it does not need to be a high end piece. I simply used the torch as an example. My point was to have some challenges or games throughout the sale. Something to keep people's attention geared toward your sale.

As I stated above.. There really is no need to be here on R2R to grab sale pieces. Watching the Unique site will allow us to grab all of the pieces offered here.

A $30-50 gift card won from a game, would attract people who otherwise may not participate here, AND make watching the sale more fun and interactive.

I actually prefer sales threads that don't have all the nonsense posts that stretches on for 150+ pages.

I am but a humble truck driver. But, I understand marketing and advertising.

I understand the concept of attracting customers based on the idea that they will be more willing to spend money if they think they will get something for free.

I understand that people will be more intent on a sale if they feel involved with the proceedings rather than just following along to see what piece is listed next.

UniqueCorals has some fabulous pieces at very good prices. I have a couple of their pieces in my tank right now and a couple I grabbed today. That said, if you look at their website, of the pieces dropped here today, there are a LOT of unclaimed pieces still available. Is this because they are not desired, or because there are not enough buyers represented here today?

I would prefer a 2hr AM and 2hr PM intense sale. Lots of continual drops, lots of chances for everyone to get nice cheapies and also their big ones (even the slow typers).
