I’m trying out a harem of clowns and all seems well with my new additions. The behavior is odd of course, tons of vibrations but surprisingly no nipping. I noticed the male is more interested in the new additions than the female. Will the new clowns also have to submit to the breeding male?

No they will all have to submit to the female. It’s the female that runs the show in a clown harem. She will also be the largest clown so as long as your new clowns are smaller then her you should be ok.
