I'm a small business owner and I really don't like airing out another small business.

I purchased a Spanish Hogfish and Māori Wrasse from Harry's. There was a 1-day delay on my package from UPS and it was very cold.

The box arrived and everything inside was basically frozen. The Wrasse was dead, and the Hogfish was belly up. Somehow, I revived the Hogfish and he's doing well now.

I emailed Harry's and filled out the form for DOA, not expecting push back I threw out the fish. I sent multiple photos with metadata (attached), but they were not up to standard.

Here is what the owner, David said:

I am David, the owner of HARRYS MARINE LIFE.

Please submit photographs as per policy requirements, as we need to file a claim with UPS. I do not believe this is your or my fault. I believe it is UPS’s fault.

If you are unable to provide the photographs as required by policy, I will be unable to file a claim through UPS. Therefore, the photographs are required on paper with the date of arrival written not digital. I can have a replacement shipped out as soon as possible, first thing Monday.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Just please submit photos as policy then I Could start the process of getting replacement sent out.

I have purchased fish from many online vendors and had no issues, Michael's NY, Tank Stop, Live Aquaria, Foxy's, etc.

I have sent out 2 additional emails and essentially, they have ghosted me 2 weeks later...
