After one year of having issues of not being able to keep xenia and green star polyps in my main tank for about a year. I finally figured out what was the issue since all my corals such as zoa's hammer, duncan, and my bubble tip anemone would be perfectly fine but once I add both gsp and xenia both would die in a bout a week. After adding activated carbon in my tank both my xenia and green star polyps has been thriving in my tank. Has anyone ever had this issue before not having carbon in your tank and your gsp and xenia die in a couple of days?

Soft corals can and will release toxins for coral warfare. The carbon helps to remove those toxins.
