my bicolor blenny seems to have “bonded” with my pistol shrimp? first time i’ve seen anything like this and i’m wondering if this is somewhat normal?

Honestly, stuff like this is never out of the ordinary for me. I've seen so many different bonds over the past few years between two unlikely subjects.

Not like yours, but my YWG and Firefish bonded and were always in the same area as each other.

My peacock mantis shrimp bonded with a velvet damsel many many years ago, they shared the same burrow for a good while and they tolerated each other peacefully for months.

...and like some relationships they had a slight disagreement and one of them mysteriously 'left'.
