Hi there, Bought some clean up crew a while back. One of the snails had what looked to be passed shell damage on, it but acted healthy enough. Was a small lump on the side of the shell. Whilst tank gazing earlier I thought the lump on the snail had grown. It then opened and closed a few times. Any idea what it is?

Yes I have and pretty much this same scenario. Some type of mollusk?

You’ll have to keep an eye that snail! In case he you know… retires. Then you can keep the clam alive

That’s the siphon organ of the snail.

No to the left of that. The zigzag lines. It covers a quarter of the snail’s circumference. Thanks for advising the on the siphon organ though, as I did not know what that was either.
