Hate Cleaning Socks

If there is one thing I absolutely hate about this hobby is cleaning those darn filter socks.
What I do now is remove them take them outside and with a pressure washer (fake pressure washer for cars) spray them and scrub up and down inside the sock for about 20 minutes scraping all that crap out.
2 times.
My result is a much cleaner sock but never spot less clean.

Anyone have some good easy ideas on cleaning these things? I have been avoiding the washing machine just to clean 2 socks but i just picked up 3 more smaller sets. So I have 2 extra large rectangle ones that came with the RS200 Sump and I just got 6 more Round ones that are smaller.
My plan is to get a good cleaning regime going but not have to rush in scrubbing a set out and rush to put them back in.

How are you guys cleaning socks?

No scrub or hand rinse. Just put them in a lingerie bag and throw them in the washer with bleach and hot water and run them through 2 cycles with an extra rinse each. Then air dry a couple days.

I just turn them inside out put them on the fastest wash cycle with just water and put it back when done the spin gets it dry enough just to get wet again

Front loading washer here. Put them in on a normal wash cycle. HOT water, and some bleach (per the machine recomendation). 2nd rinse and extra long spin cycle. the come out 95% dry. I then just stand them up under my stand to dry on out. they are nice and white. I change my socks weekly.

Sounds good, Now that i have 8 socks i plan on changing more frequently.

I got rid of my socks, they kept filtering out snails and copepods. Now I just let the skimmer do all the work. My system actually stays cleaner this way.

I have about 50 socks I use on my 120. It would take me all weekend if I did it your way! I just put them in a small garbage can, bring them to the laundromat and wash them all at once with cold water and bleach. You can turn them inside-out to help get all the solids off. While they're washing I have lunch :)

Hmm Laundromat is a good idea.... not mess up the house washer...
