I found this critter or pest or whatever it is on my blasto today after feeding it. It wasn't there couple weeks ago haven't been able to see it because the bottom heads always cover it.
I tried poking it and it is soft i thought maybe a sponge but dont want to have to take the blasto out and re glue it if i don't have to.

I think it’s a sponge. Does the blasto act irritated? Also, probably the clearest pics I’ve seen asking for critter ID. Well done!!

Have you noticed it move? Do you dip all your new corals? Did this one get dipped? Can you get the frag off the rock and take it out of the tank...for removal or gluing over? I realllly thought sponge but the Nudi pics have me nervous I told you it was something harmless and it might not be

Yeah all corals get dipped with coral rx for 15 mins and then sat on the sand in the tank for 3 weeks just incase there is something but there was nothing I could see so I glued it now 3 weeks after it got glued I notice this maybe I didnt see it before or didnt realize it could be something. And no it hasn't moved at all even when I try to touch it
