As long as one is mixed in, you can add the second. What you don't want is two concentrated clouds of the chemical to interact. That can lead to precipitation of calcium carbonate.

So a half hour is almost always enough. In some tanks, just one minute may be plenty if there is lots of flow. :)

Last night.. 163 PPM. I like to keep it at 175 PPM. which is 9.8DkH. for my maring I really just want to keep it in the 170's. we were a bit low last night so I had to dose some BRS 2 part. alkalinity.
