As aquarium tank owners, we never know when something bad might happen. Maybe a power outage, a tank leak, sudden chemical change etc., can strike at any moment. I am wondering, what is the back-up plan you have in case something bad happens to your tank. Curious to see what everyone says!

I have buckets. Many many buckets, and airstones + pumps!

Truthfully I could house everything I have in three buckets - salt and fresh, so it's not too difficult for me. I have battery backup air pumps for power outages and I live in FL so it doesn't get too cold - might get too hot though eventually. Knock on wood.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
