Having Green Algae Issues Help

Just recently in past 2-3 months been having bad hair algae in my substrate and some on rocks , Weekly water changes , did turn lights off for 3-4 days and didn't grow much but now back on with lights 6 hours every day and its back to growing Any advice 25 gallon lagoon

transfered all the rocks and media from my other tank which was up for 4-5 months and now this one been up for 4-5 months so still under a year and still I do remove as much as I can weekly
 
I have 15 Blue leg hermit crabs do u have any other recommendations
Turbo snails, cerith snails, urchin, etc. You could also try a sea hare but will need to re-home it once the algae is gone since it will starve.
