Hello- Falco, Flame and Long Nose. Which one of them are less aggressive?
I have A Yellow Assesor, Banggai, Clownfish and a Starry Blenny.
Corals -few LPS and a Monti.

Which Hawkfish will be ideal to add? Tank size is IM40.

Thank you.

Long nose is the least aggressive, followed by flame, then falco in my experience. Long nose very docile, flame mostly docile, falco can get nasty as can most other hawkfish

I think you would be fine with either the long nose or flame. The flame is hardier, IME

I find both longnose and flame hawks to be peaceful for hawkfish, and both are quite hardy. They are both prolific jumpers too.

My Hawkfish jumped out of my tank twice in a week. Unfortunately, the second time was fatal.
