looks fine but why is it on a cup of sand? BTAs dont attach in sand but onto rocks

Agree needs a rock. They like to sink thier feet into holes

Is this a quarantine tank? If so, does not need quarantining. Additionally, this anemone needs an environment that offers Good water quality and moderate light and water flow. Introduction should be within the tank and not in a cup with flow turned off allowing it to plant its foot in sand or on rock, then running subtle flow going to moderate. Too much flow and it will move and become stressed. Too little and it will shrink.

It's in a friends QT setup. They had it in there to get a better look at it before adding it to their display.
