New tank will be around 80g at 48x24x16. On hand I have an Eheime Jager that I know wont do the trick and I have a Ranco controller that is pre=wired with a probe and one plug. I know that I need a bigger heater, but need help configuring it all.
Should i Re-wire the Ranco for two plugs or just run one heater off of it and a separate heater for backup? Maybe use the 125 Jager by itself in the sump set at a lower temp and then a bigger heater somewhere else hooked up to theRanco? Or vice versa? What size heater would you all run with the 125?

Im also to trying to figure out which heater to buy for my Red sea reefer 300xl which is an 80 gal system 65 display 15 sump. I was thinking about getting the new innovative marine heaters but they are out of stock on the 2x200W at Marine Depot

I would have 2 heaters both big enough to do the job on their own. Get a controller that has 2 plugs. Set primary for 77 to 78 and secondary to 76 to 77
