Hey guys,
i've got an Eiheim jager heater rated for 400 litres (my tank is about the same volume) but i just can not get my water temp. above 22c
even if i turn the heaters dial up to the highest setting (34c) my waters temperature just wont go higher then 22... (defs not the thermometer)

can anyone give me tips on how to get my water temp. up? or should i just buy a second heater and run them both at a slightly lower power? (which could also be good in case one breaks)

You’ll need to get two heaters if one is not adequate. I actually would recommend getting multiple smaller heaters because if one malfunctions, it won’t heat your water up too much compared to one big heater.

Also, when you turn the dial up; that doesn’t make it run hotter, it’s just a thermostat.
