My heater's suction cup will not stay attached to the glass. I've tried reattaching it several times but it detaches within a few hours. Now I have the heater just dangling in the water. It moves back and forth with the flow of my wavemaker but isn't hitting anything and stays in the same place. Is it okay to leave it floating like this or will the movement cause the heater to malfunction?

Single, round

If the heater is glass you have risk of breakage if it’s hot and gets banged around. Titanium you are probably ok. Best just to keep it secured so nothing gets burned or damaged
