Heater problems/issues heating to correct temp...

Anyone else has issues with heaters on the waterbox 20 cube
I've tried two different 100w heaters now in the middle chamber set to 25 degrees and both times when testing the display tank temp it's at 24 degrees.
First time i thought it was a faulty heater, but surely not again with a different brand too.
Currently trying the siccee scuba contactless 100w.
My other thought is do I just leave it set at 30 degrees and use a temperature controller to regulate the temp of the tank?

Anyone else have any ideas?

I see no issue. Heaters typically have a range of accuracy of +/- 1 degree.

It’s heating middle chamber to 25, which begins to cool slightly as it exits the chamber. Comes back as 24. The whole tank is within 1 degree. The heater doesn’t engage again.

Just set it 1 or 2 degrees higher if you want the display 1 degree warmer. Or use a heater controller with probe in the display

Plus. Whatever you are measuring the display with also has its own margin of error.

Everything is working fine, these results are expected

So ive tested this again, heater in middle chamber is set at 27 degrees Celsius.
Display temperature is measured at 23 degrees with probe.
Put a second heater in the third chamber and the internal temp probe i my second heater also reads 23 degrees.

Get an inkbird or similar controller.

the temperature on a heater itself is almost never accurate. You should use a probe or thermometer

You might need to set the heater to 80, for it to heat water to 77 or 78

Thanks, I use an inkbird and titanium heater on my other tank.

Just hard trying to find a 100w titanium heater for this one in the uk

I found that room temp plays a huge part in what thermometer size you may need.

My office/fish room is constantly about 65-66 degrees.

I ended up getting 2 200W (I for redundancy) and a Helio controller and it keeps it at 78 perfect.

I had a 100W and it would barely get it over 72.

Good luck finding what you need.
