Hi everyone, hope everybody had a great start to the new year. Spent a lot of time reading on R2R over the years but never joined. I figured it might be time in the new year.

I have a 250 mixed reef and 25 gallon peninsula mini. Big tank is my pride and joy but I got the mini to start raising captive breed juveniles for my larger tank and a little color in the office. So hopefully the tang police won’t jump out of their seats when they see a yellow in a 25. There is a good home for him/her once big enough to play with the big boys. I have been trying to only buy captive bread fish and corals these days. Thinking about adding a mandarin from biota but still a little scared on that one mini is only six months older.

I’ll start a build thread on the 25 here as I need the most input on it. The 250 is 6 years old and stable as can be rarely ever run into any problems there. The 25 has been a fun journey though as it is basically a nano on steroids.

Well nice to meet everyone and look forward to any insight on my journey and happy to pass anything I have learned over the years along as well.

Here he is in “tang jail” haha. Baby maybe the size of a quarter. Seems to be very healthy at the moment. I was surprised he took to the tank as well as he did. Waiting till he gets to about an inch and a half and step him up to the 250.
