Hi all.I'm Ernie and I live in upstate ny.I've been an aquarium hobbyist for most of my adult life.Which at this point is longer than I care to remember..lol Over the years I've had just about every kind of freshwater fish you can name and at one time I had about 10 tanks of varying sizes going at once.
Now I have just 1 A 125 gal.And this is my second attempt at a reef tank. The first one lasted for about 2 years and would probably still be going to this day.Had it not been for a freak storm that knocked out power to a good portion of our city for up to 5 days.Mine personally was out for 4 days.Needless to say all I had left was mush in my tank.
Anyways Recently I got the "itch" to try again. To my delight it looks as if the hobby has advanced by leaps and bounds since then.I'm running a deep sand bed with about 75-100lbs of rock that I stored from the old tank. Its all just base rock now.
I'm looking for some live sand to add.If anybody has some they can sell me Pls get in touch.Or if you know of a commercial site that I can trust I'll take that.
Glad to be here thanks
