Hey everyone just wanted to say hi!!! I’ve been on here for a little bit and have mostly lingered. Wanted to say that this forum has been invaluable as a resource on my journey. I had a reef tank about 20 years ago and stopped after a power loss crashed the tank. Been back at it for about a year. I reentered the hobby with a 55g Red Sea thinking that would scratch the itch. I was wrong…. Currently my tank is a custom 220 that I’ve made a mediocre build thread about. Just really wanted to say hi and thank you. Everytime I experience an issue or want to upgrade something on my tank there is a R2R thread about it and it has made this journey that much more enjoyable. I’ll do my best to contribute so another fellow reefer in the future can have the same resource I did. Pics of my current tank just because. (Yea I know the sand looks like crap)

Don't worry too much about the sand, as long as it stays on the substrate and corals are happy it should be fine.
