Welcome to Reef2Reef!
There are various product reviews and DIY solutions on R2R that can help you to save a few bucks.

The first year of a tank can be a bit turbulent, but that's just nature doing its thing. Hang in there!

Hi

new reef keeper here. Just wading slowly into the waters for the last 2.5 months. It's not a cheap hobby to get into and it's throwing new challenges at me every month. Hope to learn from this forum.
Welcome!! The more you learn and the longer your aquarium is running, I found my costs stabilized. This year I also began making my own food which has had the added benefit I am not dropping by the local saltwater store for food and leaving with much more than food (giggle). You will learn a LOT here! Glad you found the site!
