So I started my 25gal nano reef about a month ago and things are going great! I have a frag of double dragon eye (about 16 polyps) another unidentified zoa (neon green fingers, "floating" halo of neon orange and neon green mouth), a small neon green mushroom who is growing fast, an oc clown and a dotty back. A week before stocking I had a diatom bloom after probably overdosing with nite out II but a couple water changes and the live rock is clean again. I'm seeing a difference in water stability with using RO/DI from the local CTE aquatics vs. steam distilled. And at half the cost per gallon I'm glad I saved those empty jugs.
