Hello! I have been reef keeping since 2003…shut down my pet store/fish store in 2016 and was NEVER getting into reefing again….yeah so I have a 75 g reef now…bought used and running…ended up at zero phosphates and nitrates and for the first time ever: Dinos…ugh. I remember why I said I’m never reefing again?! Lol nah I’m excited. Got directed here by google and read a ton of threads…and decided to join! So here goes…peroxide bought, Brightwell neophos, neo nitrate and vibrant along with a UV on its way….and fingers crossed.

Howdy! Really nice folks here at R2R.

You and I are in a similar situation! I never owned a store, but in my hay day I had a mix of freshwater and salt around 7 tanks. I practically lived at the LFS those days. Just started a tank up in October.

Welcome! Glad you joined. You'll have them licked in no time, but remember nothing good happens fast in this hobby. You have lots of BBA - Bounce Back Ability which is great for life and for this hobby.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
