Hi everyone!
I’m based in Bournemouth, UK, and keep a mix of freshwater and marine aquariums. My marine setups are a 400-litre fish-only tank in my home office and a smaller 110-litre aquarium in the living room.
Although I have display aquariums now, I’m especially interested in the experimental and breeding side of the hobby. My fish room is usually a bit messy! I’ve been breeding freshwater fish for many years and have also tried my hand at marine breeding, although I’ve put that on hold for now.
My marine attempts haven’t gone good. Unfortunately, my juvenile clownfish jumped out of the tank. I also tried Banggai cardinals, but I’m now left with one after he killed the other two. I tried keeping two emperor angelfish together, but one killed the other overnight. I am aware of that marine angels are nearly impossible to captive breed. I’ve also tried breeding firefish, but they’re back in the main tank for now. They might not be mature yet, or they could both be the same sex.
I’ve just joined Reef2Reef and am looking forward to learning from other members, sharing my progress and seeing everyone’s tanks.
Nice to meet you all!
