Haha thank you all. This forum seems quite fun.

I started a build thread.

Quick low down.

I've been MIA due to 3 moves and a little human lol.

Follow me @Reef_gems on Instagram.

Been in the hobby 10 years.
Started with a biocube.
After 3 months. Upgraded to a red sea max 130.
After 1 year. 65g reef.
After 1 year. 125g reef.

I took down the 125g reef but kept is as a fish only system. This system is still up in my parents house. I trained my dad to keep them and now he likes to feed them and watch them.

I now moved into a new home and have limited space.

Will be interesting to go from a large aquarium to this reefer 170. It will be on my main floor.

Happy to be back.

Next step. Aqua scaping....

Thank you if you read this.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Congrats on the little person!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

WAHOO! I'll go check it out.

This is the info they gave me when I was new:
One fun way to learn from others and keep a record of your reef aquarium is to create your very own build thread! A build thread is just a thread that tells us about your aquarium and might include photos. You can create your build thread in one of these forums. MEMBER'S AQUARIUMS

Once you have created a build thread then you can get your VERY FIRST USER BADGE! YAY! It's easy to do and I have created a thread that tells you how to do it here: BUILD THREAD BADGE
