Side note, if you ever are looking for an easy way to clean off the coralline algae off the front edges of your tank without getting your hands wet or scratching the glass with sand, check out this relatively new scrubber/scraper, works great- just wish it had a more ergonomical hand grip; which is what I told Bob Mullaney (inventor/CEO of flipper) when we met at MACNA San Diego a few weeks ago. BRS (Bulk Reef Supply) has a video on it, check it out- link below

Thanks. I was being lazy and didn't clean the glass before the pic. I use a 24" scraper to get it clean
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
