In the process of transfering from 24 gal. to a 28 gal. JBJ HQI tank in 2 weeks. Hope note to have a very big cycle since I will be using almost everything from old tank to new one. I do hope to add a lot more corals to new tank. :bigsmile:

Welcome welcome, I recently did almost the same thing. I went from a 28 to a 30 and a 15 to the 28. The 30 i used new sand and everything else remained the same. The 15 to the 28 everything remained the same. All transferred same day and a still looking good a couple months later. Although with the new sand in the 30, it does tend to get cloudy on occasion from the goby and pistol shrimp stirring it up. Other than that it all still looks good and healthy.
