Hello everyone. Been a looong time lurker and just recently decided to register and introduce myself.
Little bit of background. I think my first freshwater tank was back in 1976. A 10 gallon tank with a bubble filter if anyone can remember that :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:. I absolutely was hooked in the hobby for many years after that. As time went on, tanks got bigger and I moved on to more advanced equipment and fish. Discus and wild caught Altum Angels being the toughest. After my S. African soft water craze, I downsized to a 75 gallon FOWLR tank. ABSOLUTELY loved that tank. Well, like most of us. Life caught up to me. Got married, kids, house and job. Once the kids got into sports I simply could not keep up with everything. The tank had to go.

Fast forward 20 years. The wife is gone. The dog is gone and the kids went to college and have a life of there own. So now for the past year I've been twiddling my thumbs bored to death thinking what I should do. A lightbulb went on in my head and I thought "A NEW TANK". Well. A new tank it is.

Anyways I pulled the trigger on a new I.M Lagoon 50 EXT. Super excited but they say the tank wont be here till the end of March.
Slowly starting to get supplies in. Already have my ATO, 4 stage RO/DI filter with booster pump, duel Titanium heaters with controller, 24 4 inch filter socks. Also bought a designated mini fully automatic "filter sock only" washing machine :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Thanks for having me and looking forward to learning everything I can.
