I have been using this forum for years to help me maintain a 50 gallon tank. It is situated in the library where I work and has caused me so much joy and anxiety!!!
Right now it is home to a clown fish (over 10 years old…not for sure his age), a blue tang (older than the clown), a very feisty zebra fish named Steve and a yellow fish…I forgot what kind it is. We just lost a huge brittle sea star over Thanksgiving. Gorgeous creature but he just didn’t make it.
Just wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful information that is found here.
I have been caring for these fish friends for almost 10 years, looking forward to 10 more!

Welcome to Reef2Reef!
If you have been following this forum for years by now, I'm sure many people could benefit from your advice as well. Thanks for joining and you might consider creating a tank build thread for your library tank ;)

Welcome!! I think it’s amazing that the library has an aquarium! I actually did the cabinetry for a large aquarium in the Riviera Beach Public Library. I rember so many interesting things from my library trips when I was a child. I wish they would’ve had an aquarium!!

Welcome and congratulations for joining the group. I also maintain an aquarium in a public setting in a local ISD. It presents itself with a unique set of problems or hurdles. As I am sure you well know, but has its rewards also. These are a really nice bunch of folks even when your not talking tanks.
