New to the forum and looking to learn from others and share what I can.

I have a 60 gallon rimless cube that's almost empty now because my heater exploded a few weeks ago and fried all the corals and almost all the fish. So using this time to do some upgrades and cleanup.

Sorry about the heater nuking your tank.

It was not one of the old stealth heaters leftover from around 2005, was it? Several of us got nuked from them.

It sucks. I'm really sorry.

Nope it wasn’t that old. Maybe 6-8 years old aquatop. I got a apex controller earlier this year so I replaced it with a finnex 300w with no thermostat. Hoping to not have a repeat of that one. Haha
