So I've been putting off a formal greeting but today I'm motivated.

Hello All,

I am Whitney. I have a 60 gallon cube. It's been up and running for maybe 2 months. I used the Red Sea mature pro kit to assist with the cycling. It seems to have worked very well. I currently have a Davinci and Phantom clownfish and a snowflake eel. For corals I have a frogspawn, torch, Yuma mushroom and Monti undata.

I dose daily with Red Sea NO3PO4X, Reef Foundation B and Kent liquid calcium. I use evergrow led, I've had them up for 2 days now. Everything seems to working just fine so far. Way better than my last setup.

I do have a question though. What does a mature well taken care of Monti undata look like? I've been researching the care of them but I can't find any information on how they're supposed to look under the right conditions.

Welcome To R2R. Some of my best growing corals are monti's here are some pictures of monti https://www.google.com/search?q=Mon...jco63MAhUM6SYKHTglAp0QsAQIHw&biw=1920&bih=993. I have four in my tank I am dosing basic elements and dosing the balling method with and also dosing carbon and run GFO. I have fish and the monti grow like crazy. I have a little Po4 between .02ppm and .04ppm and my nitrates are are 4ppm to 5 ppm my parameters are at ca 420. mg 1320, alk on a good week 9.5, I am working on getting that down. I feed mostly frozen.
are you going to have fish?

Yes I have a newer eshopps sump. I just can't recall the exact one.
I haven't had issues with dosing. What should I be looking out for?

As long as you follow the instructions and test your parameters you should be good providing your skimmer is up to par. You just have to be careful with NOPOX and adjust your dose accordingly. (]:

I think I'm pretty cautious with dosing. It says it can be detrimental to the tank if mis dosed that's scary enough.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
