Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to SW tanks, but have kept FW tanks for years. My friend has a 75gal Reef, and I love her corals and fish. I'm keeping it small, with a 5 gal Pico, corals and invertebrates only. I've been slowly adding livestock. Currently, I have:
1 Dwarf Blue Hermit Crab
1 Cerith Snail
1 Turbo Snail
1 Astrea Snail

1 Mini Maxi Carpet Anenome
1 Goniopora
1 Acan Lord Frag
1 Micro Brittle Star(hitchhiker)
Had 7 Sexy Shrimp, but recently 4 have died :(
Dragon's Breath Macro Alage

I've reading the forum threads, getting good information and learning a lot.
Funny thing, I have been checking my salinity daily, so I have a good idea of how often to top off. I swore I was going blind, because the refractometer was getting blurrier and blurrier. Turns out, the viewing end is adjustable, lol, and a simple twist solved my vision problems!

Welcome to R2R! Nice little tank. Just thought I would mention, make sure you calibrate the refractometer often. Mine worked well but seemed to be slightly off frequently. You can calibrate with a 35 ppt standard solution (easy to make your own), but I found even calibrating to zero with RO/DI water worked pretty well.
