Unbagging my corals and this guy was in the bag. Anyone know what it is? I don’t mind having him call my reef home if he’s harmless. Any thoughts are welcomed and thank you (for all that reply) for your knowledge and time.

Micro brittle star. Harmelss and good part of CUC. They mostly eat micro algae, detritus and little bits of left over food.

SCORE! Buy more corals from that place. I go by the LFS on my lunch break, and pick out a frag. The guy takes it off the rack and puts it in the sand bed to hold it for me. I pick it up later on my way home. This gets me lots of little brittles!

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
