Help, buying used Kessil A160 WE

Found a used kessil a160we with mount and controller for sale, local to me (not on R2R). I'm new to the reef hobby, so I'd like to know what to look for and what to ask the seller if I'm planning to purchase. The price looks good but I would hate to get home and find out something is wrong with it..... Seller says he used it less than a year at less than half power for a few hours a day, upgraded to a 360 and a larger tank, that's why he's selling.

Any advice from ya'll would be appreciated. Seller is asking $250. Is the pricing right?

Are you sure it's a 160we? Those are only $239 brand new on BRS.

I saw they were 239 alone, controller is 100 and the mount I'm unsure of. At this point, it's either the kessil or buy a new AI Prime HD. The light will be for my Red Sea Max Nano, which already has a prime on it, but the plan was to install my prime on daughters 13.5 nano and kessil mine so I can have a better sps tank..... Any thoughts?

I'd personally get another AI prime $200 new and you don't need a controller. You can grow SPS just the same with the prime.

I didn't realize the sale included a controller and mount. My bad. $250 isn't awful then, but you really dont need the controller.

I bought a used a160. Just plug it in and make sure it works, especially both light channels, and the fan inside the light.

If I bought one without controller, I'd have to manually turn it off and on correct?
