i have had this chalice for about 8 months now and it has been growing great, about a month ago a hermit crab ate some of its flesh off, was healing nicely but then this morning i came down and there was a lot of mucus coming off, it had'nt quite healed from the hermit crab, but it had two weird vermit like snail things sticking out of it, it was soft, kinda like it was pooping, my parameters are, alk, 8.5, cal 380, nitrates 0 and i dont have a phosphate test but i get it checked every time i go to my lfs, always has been 0 or .03. also is this slime that it is expelling toxic to any coral? i will attach pics if you need them. Thanks!

also the only new thing that i have dosed in forever is fuel coral amino acids and that has about 5 days ago

From my experience 0 NO3 is not critical but having it at 1 as a minimum is beneficial.
On the other hand from my experience having PO4 below 0.05 is the end for corals. This is one of the critical building blocks for corals. Also adding amino with low PO4 is bad combination, I would add amino only if the PO4 is in the 0.1 range.
My suggestion is for you to bring the PO4 in the 0.1 range and see if things improve.
From your description if the skin is peeling it might be too late but you can still try.

As a reference here are my recent values:

thanks so much! i do dose neonitro to get the nitrates back up to 5ppm but i have trouble keeping it like that. i will start dosing phos. as soon as possible!

so the skin peeling slowed down and has stopped for now, will keep a close eye on it

Something that might help you out when prioritizing:
