I have had my Apex EL system for over a year. It has been through many storms without an issue. However, we just had a bad storm roll through and I lightning struck in my back yard and now my ORP probe is reading less than 10. I was in the fish room about to feed the fish when the strike happened about 30 yards from the window. My T5's turned off but my LED's remained on. The VDM's reset and the dimming took a second to go back to their programmed settings. My T5's turned back on after their 1 minute hysteresis.

I have tons of Apex equipment hooked up with 36 outlets, a Trident, and a lot of modules. I tested connectivity and cycled some outlets on and off and everything seems ok. However, my ORP probe is now fluctuating under 10 which it should be around 300. I unplugged the PM1 and reset it and it is showing normal in APEX. My temp probe is working along with the switches hooked into the serial port.

The ORP probe is a cheaper Milwaukee probe from Amazon and it is about 5 months old. Do you think the power fluctuation just ended the probes life or do you think there is an issue with the PM1? I have a new probe coming in to try out on Thursday.

I just hope there isn't a deeper issue at play here.

Yikes, that was a bad storm that rolled thru down here. Hope it’s ok.

Me too! It didn't rain were I work but my wife sent me pictures of 1/2" hail that was falling around 4pm. Around 7pm it broke loss at the house.
